The word out is, Obama has picked his running mate.
And wouldn’t you know it- no other than Al Sharpton!
That would not surprise me! The freaky thing is, I bet people would vote for them.
My son threw that by me the other day at the dinner table. It made me chuckle at the thought of seeing those two in the White House.
It’s better dinner conversation than governors who spend 80,000 dollar a pop on high class hooker!
I WONDER WHO John McCain WOULD pick FOR HIS RUNNING MATE? I have to think about that for a moment.

It was my B-day yesterday. Another year closer to death!
Yucks!
It was an alright day, even though my kids did not even give me a hand made card.
I can’t help, but get a little bummed out on my birthday for some reason.
I miss the days when my kids would take an extra five minutes out of their day and pull out the crayons and make me card, they would run with excitement to see my reaction. Those days have been long gone.
How much money is a card? American greetings have 99 cent cards , but of course they have money to go to the movies and buy packs of gums and cigars!
I guess I know how much I mean to them.
I hope they are feeling a little guilty about now if they are reading this post.
Good.
Sorry all my devoted bloggers. I will not be able to write today. I have some prior commitments scheduled most of the week. But I will try and post something.

Moms Soapbox is a forum for all of the fantastically ridiculous issues that face Moms (and Dads) in today's world of information overload and endless checklists on how to be the perfect parent. My intention is to break some stereotypes about what a Mother should be and share with my readers the experiences I have had in raising my two teenage sons while trying to juggle graduate school, a house full of responsibilities and a desire to go with my gut when it comes to parenting. My hope is to show that you can be comfortable enough with yourself and your family to show the world that it isn't a competition but rather a journey to learn and laugh as much as possible
