I think there are many misconceptions, and stereotypes surrounding college life. We have to break free from how the media portrays college students. At least , I hope they are not a bunch of “American Pie” Extra’s” running around  college campus.

Then there is the horror of the Virginia Tech Massacre, and other College tragedies that smeared newspapers in the past.

College life should be about learning and having a great time . College students just have to know how to balance the two.  Students can have a wonderful, fulfilling experience while embarking on their college adventure.

Whether your high school senior decides to go away to college or commute it is a big change from high school. They will need the  love and support from parents. The transition from high school to college starts now so good habits need to be developed before that last school bell rings in June, and that graduation cap flies in the wind.
