Last Nights Debate

by

untitled_5.bmpLast nights democratic debate will make for some interesting late night comedy.
Hilliary showed she could hold her own with Obama. I admire her tough exterior taking into account her past crying spell.

My son brought the debate to my attention after Clinton and Obama were clashing swords. I was not even aware there was a debate. I was surfing Comcast’s on demand trying to find something to watch while the writers strike is still ruining my prime time evening entertainment.

I turned the debate on, but had missed most of the juvenile name calling, but CNN re-capped the debate this morning capturing all the candidates slugs.

Does it change my mind or opinion of Clinton and her husband? No

I still have not decided who I will vote for, except I will not vote for someone with the name Hussein Obama; call me a bigot, or racist, but after 911 I am very suspicious with any name beginning or ending with Hussein Obama. I only say what many American’s are thinking to themselves, but fear what others may say about them.

If Clinton and Obama were the choice in a president I would then have to vote for Clinton.

Edwards showed last night he was more stable and mature of the two candidates. He was calm and cool; however, he was not in the Obama, Clintin boxing ring last night he was rather a spectator instead.

Time will tell with me. I have to think about what will be in my son’s best interest. Having two sons in war time; the draft will be my main focus point. The candidate that opposes the draft will influence my ultimate decision on who I vote for.

About Mom’s Soap Box

Moms Soapbox is a forum for all of the fantastically ridiculous issues that face Moms (and Dads) in today's world of information overload and endless checklists on how to be the perfect parent. My intention is to break some stereotypes about what a Mother should be and share with my readers the experiences I have had in raising my two teenage sons while trying to juggle graduate school, a house full of responsibilities and a desire to go with my gut when it comes to parenting. My hope is to show that you can be comfortable enough with yourself and your family to show the world that it isn't a competition but rather a journey to learn and laugh as much as possible
