The Joys of Bathtime

Ahhhhh…..the joys of bathtime. You’ve finished dinner, cleaned up the kitchen and are ready to enjoy some quiet, relaxing time with your little monkeys. At least that’s how it looks in the commercial…perfect little smiles sitting quietly with their perfect little rubber duckies. It goes a little more like this…..Boo Boo (infant) is desperately trying to eat the faucet while simultaneously trying to somehow climb out of the tub while screaming in delight. Peanut (toodler) has managed to create a stage 4 flood zone on the bathroom tile and is confused as to why he isn’t allowed to dunk his little brother for fun (as he is yelling “pee pee Mama!”

Yep, I am an as tranquil as a cool breeze on a sandy beach. Except I could really use one of those lovely concoctions that come in a coconut with a big pink straw. Happy bathing!
